Besides being a little out of Fairbanks with a dimly lit interior, the Turtle Club offers a simple menu focused on their prime rib. We had the turtle cut and halibut chunks. Both entrees were great. The prime rib is tender and juicy. The halibut chunks are lightly battered and are great with the homemade tartar sauce. The salad bar is well appointed with traditional salad making fare plus homemade potato and pasta salads. The service is solid. You aren't reliant on a single server with various servers bringing hot bread, drink refills, and checking to make sure everything is good.

All of it was great everything and everyone. I would love to go back to this restaurant and get another steak and prawns! Great food, service, and the place was old and very cool.

This place got a lot of hype so we were very excited to go here. Its a cute cabin home style restaurant but also kind of fancy for Fairbanks. Overall the food was good, the service was totally fine, and we were able to walk in and get a table without issue. I think I was just kind of expecting more? The salad bar was a little underwhelming and they only gave us one square of bread for 4 people, we spent nearly $100 a person, it was weird for them to then skimp on bread for the table. I didn't mind anything I ordered, I think the lobster was a tad over cooked, but honestly the prime rib was better the next morning flash fried in butter with breakfast. If you're in town visiting, I would maybe recommend elsewhere but this place isn't bad by any means.

Prime rib and king crab combo dinner was fantastic. Had it with cheesy potatoes and they were yummy. Also enjoyed the crab cheese dip app. I also had the crab cakes and they were good but definitely spicy. The restaurant has over 1000 turtles, and the kids loved to look at them all. The salad bar was disappointing. Only had iceberg lettuce, no mixed greens and toppings left something to be desired. Service was great.

My third time here second time with the wife. Love the atmosphere. The prim rib will keep me always coming back. My wife said we need to steal the chef and take him back to Springfield Mo. food is 5 stars. Our server was on her third day and she is 5 stars.

When we showed up a few minutes before our reservation. We were told we had a table in the back, which would be available when the current table is almost leaving. We asked where we could wait to not be in the way and we were told the bar area has a waiting area, which we went. We were told to return in five minutes. When I returned to ask if our table was ready, the hostess I think forgot about us and gave our table away already. However, they did have another table ready. Not the best way to start off but we were ok with it. Why? Because our server Emily was a rock star. She had a large party and three tables. And in no way we felt like we were playing second fiddle to her larger table. The drinks were ok. Typical bar fare. The food or I should say the prime rib was the main attraction and main event. The cuts were decently sized but was more cooked for a medium. But their medium temp for a prime rib may be different. It was medium well but the prime rib was seasoned just right. The baked potato was had the perfect temperature. Getting back to the prime rib I ate the entire thing. It was very tasty. The desserts were pretty good as well. The raspberry donut cheesecake was the best out of the chocolate Mousse and the creme Brulee could not keep up for the rich and tasty notes here. Not to say the creme brulee was bad. Just not the winner for us. This place was recommended by both the ice fishing guide we had and also the host from Escape Room AK.

You can call this place prime rib heaven. The menu features different sizes whether you're not that hungry or starving. They have a variety of appetizers which all sounded really good. We started with the escargot - which was seasoned very well in a garlic sauce and came with a lemon to get some more flavor on there. For the prime rib I had the turtle cut which I didn't think was going to be that big but was A LOT, so much that I couldn't finish it. I ordered medium well and it was cooked to perfection. A lot of people might not like it, but the fat was so tender and flavorful, I just kept eating even though I was full. Heads up - they do have crab at market price which I believe was at $125 for 1 1/2 pounds. There is a lot of meat though. Overall the service was great and the staff was really attentive and nice
